An employee needs to purchase an item. They fill in a web form with the details, and submit the request. This is sent to ice³.
Then ice³ decides, based on rules, who should authorise the purchase. It then sends an email to the relevant authoriser. Again, based on rules, further authorisation may take place, or the requisition may be declined.
When the request is fully authorised, it returns to ice³ which will then automatically place the order on the supplier and inform the purchaser.

When it does arrive, inventory would be updated and accounts would be informed of the item’s arrival.
